My friend’s been telling me about the sausage from 16th Ave Café, that it is her favourite 😄 so we finally went there this morning! And she’s not wrong about it, the sausage roll has lots of onions in it which I like. I also grabbed a small hot chocolate plus a flat white to go for my hubby.
Good value for money, friendly staff, also it is conveniently located in Cameron Road. 👍🏽

If you want a good 'kiwiana cafe experience' then drop by to 16th Ave Cafe on Cameron Road. Opens really early for those early morning risers wanting a coffee fix, or the regular workforce about to start the day. A tad old school but nothing wrong with old school.
The baking is varied and all delicious. Prices affordable, portions of everything generous and fresh and tasty, and the quality of ingredients is great .....potentially the best value club sandwiches (and fruit cake) available in Tauranga.
Medium size coffee bigger and better than large sized coffees I've had at many cafes in Tauranga. Staff all friendly and engaging. A popular cafe with both the young and older judging from the patrons entering and leaving. Works for me. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed......Stewart in Tauranga

Great service. Enjoyed the food. Fresh and tasty. Unfortunately they close a little early on Sunday so felt a bit rushed.
Love their sausage rolls, but if you turn up after 1pm you're out of luck. 😆

Lovely breakfast in a proper old fashioned cafe. Decent sized coffee. Reasonable prices. Early opening is a boon.

I love this place me and my husband come here we love there yes eggs Benedict 😋😋 and awesome Mocca . Very friendly staff
