I called in yesterday to get a flight changed - ( to two days earlier ) first flight was informed the agent who did the booking doesn’t work there . The girl at counter said she had only been there 10 days and couldn’t do it and was busy she had emails to send . The sole agent had a customer - so I gave all the details and 24 hours later have heard nothing ! They don’t answer the phone - I’ve tried many times . I ring the company 800 number - get through and get told to deal with the Bayfair branch ! I do not recommend this company at all . Service 0.5/10 .
I attended Flight Centre Bayfair yesterday to arrange an international trip. The initial encounter was pleasant with a very helpful staff member. After leaving, my partner found a slightly different flight that was substantially cheaper. We had been advised to return promptly to lock in the quote as rising fuel prices were expected to cause ticket price hikes within days. I visited the branch again today where two different staff members were working. There were no customers present. I was advised that they were too busy to discuss any changes, and asked to return two days later (even after I mentioned the advice I had received that ticket prices were about to rise). I booked the tickets myself this afternoon and saved around $900. Such a shame after good experiences with this company and branch in the past.
Had a bad experience today with the older lady who served us on the desk at the front of the store. We had to wait until she finished her very important stapling before she would serve us after telling us to sit in front of her. She couldn't tell me the benefits of using their services and when I asked her if I could just do it myself for the same outcome she said yes you could... and nothing else. I felt like I had to pay her $150 to unlock the key to why I should use her services. I even had to explain what google had told me I thought a travel agent did to try get an idea of what she could offer. Felt very negative towards me from the get go and very unhelpful, I really don't know why and certainly wont be coming back to book the 2 trips I need sorted!
Visited today to enquire regarding a cruise for four of my family. The woman was so rude and so unhelpful that we all walked out of there and will not be returning. I thought that travel agents were struggling at the moment for work. This is why - when you have such a rude person sitting behind a desk. We weren’t even asked to sit down and she certainly didn’t stand up to talk to us. Not even slightly helpful.
I couldn't say a bad word about our experience with the Bayfair center. Abby was brilliant!!! Very knowledgeable as we were booking multiple flights through multiple countries. Took her time and listened to all of our concerns.
