My husband and I now use House of Travel exclusively simply because we know we have the security if there are any issues but also because the staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Jessica also contacts us prior to and after our trips to make sure everything has gone smoothly. I had had experiences with both Webjet and AirNZ where flights were cancelled and because I had booked direct with them we never got paid back. I feel much happier knowing that HOT would not allow this to happen to us . Keep up the good work HOT , 100% recommend.
My 15 year old son and I spent an extended Easter in Cairns. Thanks to Carly from HOT Papamoa for organising. From cable cars, train, reef, rainforests and all the animals. It was fantastic. Thank you Carly for your help.
Kaylie did a great job organizing our holiday. She offered additional advice and planned it all out for us. We are impressed with the level of service that we got from HOT Papamoa and love that they are local. Well Done.
We have just reurned from a nearly 7 week holiday taking in Britain, a Baltic cruise with Norweign, (10/10). Time in Copenhagen, Hesinki, and Amsterdam before flying to Calgary, Banff, Brooks and Drumheller, then Vancouver for an Alakan cruise before coming home. This took some organising and Carly got it spot on. Everything went so well. Our only disappointment was the Alaskan cruise with 'Princess'. The crew for the most part were best described as lacking enthusiasm. We had one or two who were very good but unfotunately we had to complain once but didn't for a number of other smaller instances. Nothing huge just little annoying things. Overall this was a brilliant trip well organised
I booked a 14 day Globus European Tapestry Tour and flights to and from England with House of Travel. Everything was smooth, some times email responses were a bit tardy between my agent and me - but we sorted that out. The tour was fantastic - the bus clean, driver amazing, accommodation top notch, and our guides were just brilliant at there job and gave fantastic commentary to all the areas we were visiting. Our guide had a great sense of humor, even though English was her second language. She spoke excellent English. Our guide also gave us advice on things to do, places to eat - how to use the public transport when we had free time. A lot of very early starts, however this is so we got to excursions before the herds of people arrived and it worked beautifully - there are a lot of people visiting Europe. Lots of time to relax on the bus. There was a lot of walking on the tour and stairs everywhere, so if you are not very mobile, this tour is not for you. We had perfect weather so that made it even better. Food supplied was a bit hit and miss. Seemed like the food was styled to suit the 'American' palate and more often than none, had missed the mark on being authentic. With the exception being Moulin Rouge - authentic French cuisine and I was the only one that seemed to enjoy it :) The people on the tour were nice, with mostly Americans, some Australians and me from little old NZ - aged from about 10 through to about 80. 2 families on our tour, the children were aged 10 - 16 and were awesome. Excursions offered were mostly fantastic, and im glad I did a majority of them. I will definitely tour again with Globus and book with HOT.
