Really nice food, good staff and tends to be open when others aren't which is handy for last minute stops with kids. Were very accommodating with food allergies. Would highly recommend. Had a lovely pan fried snapper....epic!

Family run place. Great tasting and delicious meals, epic portions and mean cocktails! Friendly, fun and welcoming staff, you can tell they enjoy serving their community and their regulars are testimony to that. Aussies are big on their breakfasts and That Place's creamy mushrooms on toast, with bacon is the bomb!

Fabulous food with exceptional service, and all provided with a smile and ready laughter.
After our lunch, couldn't resist grabbing some delicious goodies from the cabinet to take home for afternoon tea.

Absolutely hands down the best food in town.
The beef and mushroom pie is to die for!!
Never in my life had a pie like this! All of their pastries are so delicious,5++++!
I have never done a google review for a cafe before but had to for this one!
We live in waihi and this is our new favorite place in town!
Guess ill become part of the furniture at this point :)

The food was great, and the portions were generous for the price. We were glad we chose to eat here after a long search for cafés in Waihi.
The staff member at the counter was lovely and very hospitable, especially considering it was only her third day.
I understand the pressures of working in hospitality, particularly during busy periods and with the POS being a bit tricky - however, as customers, we didn’t need to be exposed to the manager’s theatrics. A more measured tone would have been appreciated, especially as we were respectful throughout.
Overall, a good food.
